Currently holding the esteemed position of Texas Client Director at Microsoft, he continues to shape the technological landscape of the region. With his strategic vision and deep understanding of information technology, Elkins is committed to creating transformative solutions that empower businesses and communities alike. Before assuming his role at Microsoft, Stephen Elkins amassed invaluable experience during his tenure as the Chief Information Officer at the City of Austin, a position he held for an impressive decade. In this capacity, Elkins was entrusted with the oversight of the Communications and Technology Management department, where he played a pivotal role in harnessing the potential of technology to enhance performance and mitigate risks throughout the city's operations. His visionary leadership was instrumental in the development and implementation of cutting-edge information systems, enterprise architecture, security protocols, and information technology governance.
